When SS Rajamouli said Hrithik Roshan is nothing in front of Prabhas
At a classic movie gathering, filmmaker SS Rajamouli garnered interest when he shared that after seeing Hrithik Roshan’s film Dhoom 2, he found himself yearning for similar action heroes and movies in the Telugu cinema world too.
Yet, he subsequently commented that upon viewing Prabhas’ acting in the movie Billa, he felt confident that the charismatic figure of Bollywood pales in comparison to the impressive talent displayed by the star of Baahubali.
In simpler terms, SS Rajamouli expressed, “I’ve watched the songs, posters, and trailers of Billa, and all I can say is that Hrithik Roshan pales in comparison to Prabhas. Kudos to Meher Ramesh for elevating Telugu cinema to a level comparable to Hollywood.
SS Rajamouli claimed no malice and apologized for his statement against Hrithik
In the future, during the New York Film Critics Circle Awards’ grand event on the red carpet, the movie director looked back on his word selection and offered a heartfelt apology.
He said that it was approximately fifteen to sixteen years ago when the incident occurred. However, I should note that my wording at the time was not ideal; I acknowledge that now. I did not intend to belittle him; on the contrary, I hold him in high regard. It has been a long time since then.
