As a long-time admirer of the magic that is Rajinikanth and having witnessed his charisma firsthand on numerous occasions, I can confidently say that the bond between him and Salman Khan is nothing short of extraordinary. The story of Salman’s uninvited visit to the 2.0 event in 2016 speaks volumes about their camaraderie and mutual respect. It’s not every day you see a Bollywood superstar showing up at an event unannounced, just to catch a glimpse of his idol!

For several decades, the iconic actor Rajinikanth has been dominating the film industry, with millions of fans worldwide, including well-known actors like Kajol, Sivakarthikeyan, Salman Khan, and Thalapathy Vijay, who are all avid admirers of ‘Thalaivar’. On multiple occasions, Rajinikanth has been commended by various celebrities. Notably, the Bollywood sensation, Salman Khan, is such a fervent fan of Rajinikanth that he attended an event without invitation solely to meet the actor known as ‘Jailer’. Indeed, that’s true.

In 2016, it turned out that Salman Khan showed up uninvited at the premiere of Rajinikanth’s upcoming Tamil sci-fi film, 2.0. Remarkably, despite not receiving an invitation, Salman Khan made a point to catch a glimpse of Rajinikanth at the event.

At the gathering, Salman Khan expressed, “I wasn’t given an invitation; I merely dropped by to catch a glimpse of Rajinikanth. In my opinion, he is one of the most extraordinary individuals out there. I hold him in high esteem. Upon learning that the launch was taking place here, I decided to attend.

Later, the actor from Enthiran shared a warm embrace with his co-star from Maine Pyar Kiya during their appearance on stage. Rajinikanth thanked Salman Khan for attending the event and mentioned that he would be more than willing to collaborate with him in a film, should the opportunity arise tomorrow. Footage of their heartwarming bond and friendship at the event quickly spread online, garnering attention across the web.

For those not in the know, the movie titled “2.0” was released in 2018. In this film, Rajinikanth plays twin roles, one as a scientist and the other as a robot. This movie is a follow-up to the hit 2010 film “Enthiran (Robot)”, which featured Aishwarya Rai. Notably, “2.0” marks Akshay Kumar’s debut in Tamil cinema, and it also includes Amy Jackson as part of its cast.

It was widely speculated online in June that Salman Khan and Rajinikanth would work together for a film directed by Atlee. But TopMob recently obtained exclusive information suggesting it could be Kamal Haasan instead of Rajinikanth who collaborates with Salman Khan on the project. However, no formal announcement has been made regarding this possibility yet.
