For a while now, there have been whispers suggesting that Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are an item. However, neither of them has officially acknowledged their relationship status. But, in 2023, prior to the premiere of their movie ‘Animal’, they were spotted sharing a sweet, romantic moment together, fueling those dating rumors further.

During an interview on Nandamuri Balakrishna’s show, Unstoppable with NBK, Rashmika was asked to make a phone call to one of her Dear Comrade co-stars. As Balakrishna and Ranbir Kapoor playfully teased the actress about her reported boyfriend, Vijay picked up the call, causing Rashmika to turn red with embarrassment.

In the promo, as the actor playfully asked Rashmika, “What’s going on, re,” his question was met with a contagious smile from her. This heartwarming moment left everyone admiring the rumored couple even more. The scene also featured Balakrishna and Ranbir bantering with Rashmika, affectionately referring to her as “Crushmika” and jokingly using Vijay’s name, hinting at their camaraderie.

Additionally, during the same event, Ranbir Kapoor shared that filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga initially spoke with Rashmika Mandanna at a party on Vijay’s rooftop. This interaction ultimately resulted in her landing the lead role in the movie “Animal”.

In 2023, the movie titled “Animal” hit the screens with Ranbir Kapoor as the principal actor. Rashmika Mandanna was cast opposite him, playing the role of his wife in this film. The highly successful production was helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who had previously directed two films: “Arjun Reddy” starring Vijay Deverakonda and its Hindi counterpart “Kabir Singh.

Rashmika Mandanna will continue her role as Srivalli, Pushpa’s wife, in the upcoming sequel of the Allu Arjun movie titled “Pushpa 2: The Rule,” directed by Sukumar. Additionally, she is set to star in Bollywood films such as “Chhaava” alongside Vicky Kaushal and “Sikandar” with Salman Khan.
