During an interview with Curly Tales, Rashmika reminisced about the occasion when she received her very first film offer. She disclosed that it was while she was still in college and had recently won the title for a youth beauty pageant.

At that point, a film studio contacted her, having discovered her picture in a newspaper. As she was merely settling into her routine college existence once more, the actress remembered herself feeling utterly taken aback by this development.

After learning that the production company wanted to cast her in a movie, Rashmika politely turned down the offer during the very phone call she received about it.

She explained, “I initially believed it was a joke. I made clear that I’m not interested in acting and prefer to focus on my studies instead. Nevertheless, they persisted in trying to contact me. They contacted my teachers at Ramaiah to arrange a meeting with me. My teachers informed me about a film opportunity, stating that I needed to attend the meeting.

Rashmika was extremely afraid of giving auditions and shooting before cameras

During the continuation of the interview, the actress recalled feeling anxious during her initial audition as she wasn’t quite accustomed to acting in front of a camera, and it made her uneasy to have directions given from somewhere other than where she was performing.

She expressed, “I find myself struggling with auditions, you know… They make me feel uneasy, like they’re my kryptonite… I can perform when placed in a scene or given tasks, but an audition – being in that room, reciting lines while someone is directing from behind the camera – just doesn’t suit me.
