As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for cinematic history, I must say that Prabhas’ journey is nothing short of extraordinary. His collaboration with SS Rajamouli on the Baahubali franchise undeniably revolutionized Indian cinema and set new benchmarks in the industry. However, what truly intrigues me is his human side, as evidenced by the story behind his nervousness before the film’s release.
Working together on the Baahubali series with director SS Rajamouli significantly transformed the landscape of Indian cinema. It’s fair to assert that their partnership resulted in an epic film that shattered every box office record.
As a lifestyle expert, let me share an intriguing fact: Did you know that in the build-up to Baahubali’s release in 2015, Prabhas made a commitment to director Rajamouli that he would stand by his side, come what may regarding the film’s reception? That’s correct! However, the pressure got to him. In spite of his pledge to be present through thick and thin, the anticipation for the movie was so overwhelming that Prabhas found himself unable to keep his word.
In 2018, during an episode of Koffee With Karan, Prabhas shared that director Rajamouli felt they should stay connected since they had put in a great deal of effort and on an emotional level, it was important for them to stick together. Prabhas agreed, stating they indeed should be united.
Despite feeling quite anxious about the premiere of Baahubali, Prabhas decided to travel to New Delhi a day before the release. He reached out to Rajamouli, explaining, “Look, I can’t make it. I’m just too nervous. You go and experience it – whether you feel great or not so good. I won’t be there. I’ll stay here (in Delhi). I have no plans to leave.”
Joining the discussion, Rana chuckled and explained that contrary to the initial scheme, everyone wasn’t gathered as planned; instead, they were in various cities.
As a devoted admirer, I recently had the pleasure of gracing the screens in the epic sci-fi masterpiece, Kalki 2898 AD, which was unveiled on June 26. This captivating film is the brainchild of director Nag Ashwin and boasts an illustrious cast including Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in pivotal roles.
According to the creators, the character of Rebel star will appear in the follow-up to Kalki 2898 AD, taking on his role as Bhairava once more. Subsequently, the performer known for Salaar will feature in Raja Saab, a Telugu movie that combines romance, comedy, and horror elements.
On April 10, 2025, you’ll find the movie “Raja Saab” playing in cinemas. In addition to that, Prabhas is set to work alongside Sandeep Reddy Vanga on the eagerly awaited project titled “Spirit”. Furthermore, he has a historical film in the works with director Hanu Raghavapudi as well.
