When Nagarjuna Akkineni didn't talk to wife Amala for over a week; said he would never forgive her

As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for relationships and personal growth, I find Nagarjuna Akkineni‘s story with his wife Amala to be quite intriguing. It’s always fascinating to see how couples navigate through challenges, especially when they involve beloved pets.

Known as one of the unquestioned megastars in South Indian cinema, Nagarjuna Akkineni leads a life both on and off-screen that is shrouded in fame and admiration. Behind the glitz and glamour, he shares his life with actress Amala Akkineni. Despite their high profiles, they prefer to maintain a private sphere in their personal lives. Interestingly, amidst their quiet existence, Amala Akkineni once revealed an intriguing story from their marriage, where Nagarjuna chose silence as a form of communication for a while.

According to Bollywood Bubble, Amala revealed that a disagreement occurred after they sent their pet Labrador dog away for training for around a month. When Nagarjuna arrived home from work, he was surprised to find the dog wasn’t there. However, once Amala explained their Labrador was sent for training, the actor stated he wouldn’t speak to her again.

Reminded of the time Amala mentioned, “I dispatched the Labrador for a month-long training session. I want it to be thoroughly trained. When Nag returned home one day, the dog wasn’t there to greet him, which startled Nag. Upon asking me and Akhil about its whereabouts, I informed him of its location. In response, he stated he would no longer speak to me.”

However, this incident didn’t mark the resolution. Instead, Nagarjuna persisted in cutting off all forms of communication for several days. Eventually, he came to understand that Amala’s choice could have been both correct and significant. Yet, he remained unwilling to pardon his spouse at that moment.

Discussing this matter, Amala said, “I held off speaking with Nag for a week. Eventually, after about ten days, he acknowledged that what I did was right and recognized the significance of training a dog. Later on, he reached out to me again, but he’s still holding a grudge against me for keeping our pet Munchkin away for such an extended period.”

For those not familiar, Amala is Nagarjuna’s second spouse, and they got married in June 1992. Before this union, the actor was married to Lakshmi Daggubati and they share a son named Naga Chaitanya. However, their marriage ended in divorce back in 1990.
