When Mammootty DROPPED a picture from his younger days featuring Amitabh Bachchan

As a die-hard fan who has grown up watching these legends grace our screens, seeing Mammootty and Amitabh Bachchan together was like a dream come true! It’s fascinating to imagine what they must have discussed during their conversation, given their decades of experience in the industry. Their camaraderie is evident, even though they haven’t shared screen space for a film yet.

Mammootty and Amitabh Bachchan, two legendary stars in Indian cinema, have created numerous cherished moments for fans. It’s rather uncommon to see them together, but a post shared by Mammootty himself reveals just that.

Although Mammootty and Amitabh Bachchan have been prominent figures in Indian cinema for many years, they’ve never had the opportunity to act together in a movie. Nevertheless, their mutual admiration and camaraderie has always been palpable, with each holding high regard for the other’s professional accomplishments.

Recently, Mammootty and his son Dulquer Salmaan made news when they appeared together in Hyderabad. They arrived wearing relaxed yet fashionable attire, catching everyone’s attention. Upon their arrival, they were greeted not only by the public but also by enthusiastic fans as well.

Moving on to Amitabh Bachchan’s latest acting roles, he recently appeared as the significant character Ashwatthama in the film Kalki 2898 AD. This movie, which featured Prabhas as the lead, also starred Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan. Directed by Nag Ashwin, it was a grand blend of mythology, science fiction, and epic storytelling.

The movie which originates from the aftermath of Mahabharata takes us to the dystopian world set in 2898 AD. The world being run by a totalitarian government is at risk of being overthrown when the prophesied 10th avatar of Lord Vishnu called Kalki is set to take birth.

In this movie I’m following, I have the privilege of witnessing a stellar ensemble cast that includes Disha Patani, Saswata Chatterjee, Brahmanandam, Rajendra Prasad, Shobhana, and several other notable figures in pivotal roles. Notably, celebrities such as Vijay Deverakonda, Mrunal Thakur, Dulquer Salmaan, SS Rajamouli, among others, graced the screen with their brief appearances in cameo roles.

In a different turn of events, Mammootty’s latest film was Turbo, helmed by director Vysakh. However, his upcoming project will be the OTT anthology series titled Manorathangal, which is built around multiple screenplays penned by MT Vasudevan Nair.

Beyond that, I’ve taken on the leading part in Gautham Vasudev Menon’s unnamed debut venture in Malayalam as well, marking another exciting step in my cinematic journey.
