When Allu Arjun compared Hrithik Roshan to Prabhas, saying ‘he is nothing’ in front of Baahubali actor

As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for recognizing talent and a deep appreciation for the art of cinema, I must admit that the comparison between Prabhas and Hrithik Roshan, made by none other than Allu Arjun, has left me quite intrigued. Having followed the trajectory of these two remarkable actors throughout my career, I find myself in agreement with their contemporaries’ assessments.

Star actor Prabhas is recognized as a “First pan-Indian star,” boasting a massive fanbase not only within India but across the globe. Numerous actors have publicly praised Prabhas during various media engagements. In a related context, Allu Arjun, known for his role in Pushpa, has highly commended the Kalki 2898 AD actor and likened him to Hrithik Roshan. An old video that gained popularity features Arjun stating that Prabhas outshines Hrithik Roshan.

Indeed, it might come as a surprise, but their words are accurate. During the marketing of Prabhas’ Billa (2007), SS Rajamouli and Allu Arjun made these comments. At the event, Rajamouli expressed that when Dhoom 2 was unveiled in 2006, he often pondered why the Southern film industry lacked stars similar to Hrithik Roshan.

Having seen the song, poster, and trailer of Billa, and now after watching the whole trailer, I must say that Hrithik Roshan pales in comparison to Prabhas. It seems that Telugu cinema has surpassed Bollywood, and is now on par with English films.

At the same gathering, Allu Arjun concurred with the director of RRR and shared his thoughts, “Prabhas possesses exceptional looks. He excels in action sequences and is unrivaled. As Rajamouli stated, Hrithik Roshan pales in comparison to Prabhas. I wholeheartedly agree with that.” (paraphrased by me)

Following the release of a video where Allu Arjun expressed views about Prabhas and Hrithik Roshan, some online users criticized his comments, while others supported them. However, after the incident and the resulting controversy, director SS Rajamouli addressed the matter during a public conversation, explaining that his intent was not to disrespect Hrithik Roshan, as he holds him in high regard.

On another occasion, it’s not just this time that Allu Arjun has acknowledged Prabhas. According to an article in Koimoi, the actor previously expressed that Prabhas truly deserved all the acclaim he received for Baahubali. Moreover, Allu Arjun emphasized that Prabhas’ dedication and persistence for five years towards the film is deserving of recognition.
