Known for gracing screens in Southern movies across Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam film industries, Srikanth has become a familiar figure. However, amidst recent news about his ongoing legal issues, it’s worth noting that Srikanth previously caught attention for a separate reason in the media.
Vandana Srikanth’s alleged legal cases
According to sources, it was said that Srikanth and his partner, Vandana, were supposed to get married in 2007. Initially, Srikanth’s parents supported their relationship; however, they ended the wedding plans when they discovered both Vandana and Srikanth’s parents had been involved in some legal issues.
In my dedication to sharing events honestly, I’d like to recount how my marriage came about. A disagreement over land ownership triggered a dispute, which in turn instigated legal proceedings. Despite my parents’ resistance towards my union, I chose to officially marry Vandana.
Initially, it was known that Srikanth registered his marriage as a means to persuade his parents. However, unexpectedly, the actor from the movie Nanban denied acknowledging his marriage at a later point.
As stated in a report by Times Now, the actor expressed that their marriage had not been physically consummated. He entered into a legally binding marriage out of love for her and with the hope of eventually gaining his parents’ approval.
Not long after we set our wedding date, I discovered that Vandana had been arrested for a crime and that the passports of her parents were seized due to their connection with criminal investigations,” he continued.
In due course, it came to light that Vandana appeared at Srikanth’s residence accompanied by menacing bodyguards. Overwhelmed with concern for both his own safety and that of his elderly parents, he was reportedly pressured into fleeing his home, and at one point, he even sought refuge under police protection.
After various accusations at the time, Srikanth and his spouse, Vandana, eventually reconciled. Through legal mediation and counseling, they chose to continue their partnership.
And now, years later, Srikanth and Vandana are still married and are parents to two children.
Srikanth’s last film?
On the professional side of things for Srikanth, his latest appearance was as the main character in the movie titled “Konjam Kadhal Konjam Modhal”. This film is a blend of romance and humor, and it was both written and directed by K Rangaraj.
The film centered around a duo’s view of prosperity within relationships, but this perspective shifted dramatically once they observed the deep affection between an elderly pair instead.
Upon its release, the movie featuring Pujita Ponnada as the main actress garnered a mix of positive and negative feedback from critics.
