This assumption led Steffy to dismiss Hope from the company, causing a significant disagreement between them.

Additionally, events become unexpectedly dire when Carter resolves to retaliate against Steffy for embarrassing his girlfriend. By deceiving Ridge Forrester, he successfully seizes control of Forrester Creations. Consequently, the Forresters are forced to relinquish their own company, leaving Steffy stunned and disturbed.
