What’s on TV tonight, Nov. 29, 2024? (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, The CW)

As a devoted Blue Bloods enthusiast who has watched every single episode with unwavering dedication, I can’t help but feel a sense of excitement tonight. While the sports fans might be busy cheering for their favorite teams on other networks, us Reagans at heart will be glued to our screens as CBS dedicates an entire evening to our beloved series.

In case you’re planning to catch a show on regular television tonight, November 29th, you might find yourself disappointed as it seems to be dominated by sports. But here’s some good news for fans of Blue Bloods!

On Black Friday, it’s common for folks to either be out shopping or recovering from the festivities of Thanksgiving. Given this, many individuals are likely spending quality time with their families rather than watching live television. Therefore, it seems reasonable for broadcast networks to suspend their usual programming on this night.

Blue Bloods special and college sports

Among the top five broadcast networks, three are airing college football games. Notably, CBS and The CW are not showing college football but instead focusing on “Blue Bloods”. Given that the series finale is approaching, it’s understandable why they would choose to focus on this show.

Tonight, we’re airing two repeats of “Blue Bloods”. The initial showing is at 8 p.m., Eastern and Pacific Time. We’re returning to season 14, episode 11, titled “Life Sentence”, where the Reagans found themselves in a case revolving around potential jury tampering. To wrap up the evening, we have another repeat of season 14, episode 12, titled “Without Fear or Favor”, which featured Danny teaming up with a British investigator to solve a complex case.

Between the two re-runs, there’s going to be a special event called “Blue Bloods: Celebrating a Family Legacy.” This special will be broadcasted, and it honors the 293 episodes of the series by taking us on a trip down memory lane. We’ll get to reminisce about the characters who have moved on, those who are still with us, and the profound impact this wonderful show has had.

The CW starts with Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer, and then runs into two episodes of Children Ruin Everything season 4. The comedy series is focused on a couple who have to juggle the highs and lows of parenting. And parents know that there are a lot of lows that we don’t like to talk about.
