As a gamer who’s been through countless marathons of TV shows, I must say, it’s a bittersweet feeling to see the One Chicago shows taking a break until 2025. It feels like an eternity, but at least we have new episodes of Survivor and The Summit to keep us entertained in the meantime.
As we approach Thanksgiving, it’s clear that many TV broadcasters are taking a well-deserved break. Some have already aired their fall finales, while others are simply taking a night off, understanding that many viewers will be traveling during this festive week. From a gamer’s perspective, this means more time for me to dive into my favorite video games!
Tonight, Wednesday, Nov 27, there will be no new episodes of the One Chicago series. Instead, these shows are taking a break that lasts until 2025. The upside is they’ll resume airing in January. In the meantime, NBC is concentrating on its holiday-themed content for the remainder of the year, with specials starting tonight as part of this festive lineup.
CBS and The CW are only the normal schedules
On Wednesday, Nov 27, only CBS and The CW are airing their regular programming. To start the night off, a new episode of Survivor will be on CBS, which is essentially the semi-final tonight. Over the next two weeks, we’ll have the two-episode finale to conclude this season’s intense competition on this network.
Subsequently, you’ll find the next installment of “The Summit” on air. It’s been an exciting journey watching contestants push their limits in pursuit of victory. In this episode, the teams are expected to arrive at the final milestone.
For The CW’s programming tonight, we have “Sullivan’s Crossing” and “Inside the NFL”. In “Sullivan’s Crossing”, Maggie is delving deeper into Cai’s past as she cares for his sister. Will she find it acceptable or choose to leave once she learns more?
If you’re seeking a family-friendly show to enjoy together, consider tuning into NBC during prime time. The initial hour is a build-up to the Macy’s Day Parade special, which the kids will surely appreciate due to the colorful floats. Following that, there’s a special edition of SNL for Thanksgiving. It’s often amusing for adults, although it may not be suitable for younger viewers.
Although Mary Poppins is suitable for children, tonight’s 20/20 special airing on ABC is not child-friendly. Instead, we delve into the untold tale behind the movie – primarily focusing on the character’s influence on popular culture and subsequent films. We explore what made Mary Poppins so endearing, and why the film remains a classic, even after many years have passed.
