At some point, he gets shot in the back of the head by Abby – an event that usually results in a character’s death in this game. But remarkably, he manages to pull through despite the severe injury that should have proven fatal for many others in the storyline.

Following the gruesome murder of Joel by Abby in The Last of Us Part II, players found themselves on edge, anticipating a tragic fate for the Miller brothers. As events unfolded, Abby managed to surprise Tommy and this led Ellie and Jesse to search for him. At a critical moment when they were about to pass through a door, Abby fatally shoots Jesse in the head, ending his life.

When Tommy struggles to break free from Abby’s grasp, Lev—a member of her group—fires a shot into Tommy’s leg, causing him to stumble and lose control over his movements. He tumbles forward due to the pain. In the following moments, Abby fires a deadly shot at the back of Tommy’s head, leaving the players under the impression that she has ended Tommy’s life as well.

Thankfully for me, Abby’s bullet veered off at an angle that wasn’t immediately lethal. Despite losing an eye and some functionality, I managed to pull through the harrowing incident, remaining a crucial figure in our game.
