What Was Paul Heyman Doing Backstage at WWE RAW?

As a die-hard wrestling fan with decades of ringside experience, I must say that the recent turn of events involving Paul Heyman and The Bloodline is nothing short of thrilling! It’s been a rollercoaster ride ever since the infamous attack on Solo Sikoa, and now, with Paul Heyman spotted backstage at RAW, it feels like we are getting closer to unveiling the next chapter in this captivating storyline.

As a dedicated fan, I recently tuned into the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, where none other than the esteemed Paul Heyman made an appearance. You might remember that his last stint was on SmackDown in June, coinciding with the iconic return of WWE to Madison Square Garden and the roar of nearly 18,000 fans.

At the event, a notable ceremony where family ties were acknowledged unfolded within The Bloodline. Solo Sikoa sought recognition as Tribal Chief from Fatu, Tonga Loa, and Tama Tonga; they granted it. Yet, Paul Heyman declined to acknowledge Sikoa. This rejection sparked a fierce attack by The Bloodline, culminating in them brutally tossing him through the commentators’ table.

Following the violent incident, Paul Heyman has been out of sight in the WWE world. Despite his appearance backstage at SummerSlam alongside Roman Reigns, which WWE unintentionally shared but later removed, the image quickly spread among enthusiasts online. To maintain suspense for the storyline, WWE has been discreet about Heyman’s absence. However, recent sightings of him backstage with RAW commentator Pat McAfee on a Monday night suggest he might be making a comeback.

Paul Heyman & Pat McAfee spotted backstage on WWE RAW

Pat McAfee, who returned to the WWE RAW commentary team earlier in the year, has revealed that he will part ways with RAW following the August 19th episode. This decision is due to his obligations with ESPN College GameDay, which kicks off this week. He made this announcement on his official Instagram account.

During his break from the spotlight, I shared some behind-the-scenes moments with fellow fans. Snapped backstage were pictures of Jey Uso, Dominik Mysterio, Chad Gable, and other stars. One of these photos included Paul Heyman, Roman Reigns’ trusted advisor, who’s often referred to as “The Wiseman.”
