Enjoy your weekend, Netflix enthusiasts! Plenty of fresh Netflix films and series are available for viewing from August 9th through the 11th.
Hey there, fellow gaming enthusiast! Need something to switch up your gaming routine this weekend? Let me share some top picks from the latest offerings on Netflix! Here are five shows and films I’ve got my eye on: [list of selected content]. And if you’re curious about what else Netflix has in store for the weekend, I’ve got you covered – check out the rest of this weekend’s new releases right here!
Let’s get the list started with an oldie with new versions airing RIGHT NOW!
Love is Blind
As a dedicated fan, I’m eagerly sharing some exciting news! Although “Love is Blind US” won’t return on Netflix until this fall, two new adaptations have already graced our screens that you simply can’t miss. The Spanish version, “Love is Blind Mexico,” and the British edition, “Love is Blind UK,” premiered earlier this month, and they are both exceptional! Given that “Love is Blind Mexico” is nearing its season 1 finale on Netflix on August 15th, it’s high time you catch up to stay in the loop. Don’t miss out; enjoy the ride!
Beginning on August 7th, the UK version of “Love is Blind” has commenced its airing. At present, there are seven more episodes to go in this season, with an additional five episodes scheduled for release on August 14th. The last two episodes of season 1 will be available on Netflix from August 21st.
The Umbrella Academy season 4
In August 8, 2024, Netflix premiered the last season of “The Umbrella Academy” series, which I found captivating with its six episodes. Despite some fans expressing dissatisfaction with the conclusion, I felt it provided a fitting resolution to the tale. To reveal the ending would be a spoiler, but let me tell you that the Hargreeves siblings are in a dire situation and must once again join forces to save the world.
In the upcoming fourth season, we’ve got a returning star-studded cast featuring Robert Sheehan, Elliot Page, Aidan Gallagher, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Ritu Arya, and others. Additionally, David Cross, Nick Offerman, and Megan Mullally join the ensemble in the final season.
Farewell, Brellies!
Inside the Mind of a Dog
Announcing Rob Lowe as the narrator, the captivating documentary titled “Inside the Mind of a Dog” made its debut on Netflix on August 9th. This fresh release offers unprecedented insights into how dogs perceive, interact, and act. The documentary reveals more about canine cognition, communication, and behavior than ever before.
If you want to know what’s on your dog’s mind, this is the documentary for you. I love dogs, so you know I’ll be watching this weekend!
Emily in Paris
Hey there fellow gamer! Not gonna lie, I haven’t gotten my fix of Emily in Paris just yet on Netflix, but boy am I pumped for it! Emily, played by the talented Lily Collins, will be back to charm us once again starting on Thursday, Aug. 15 with season 4 part 1. You might want to refresh your memory or catch up if you haven’t watched or re-watched season 3’s finale, as things are bound to heat up in Paris! Keep an eye out for it all next week when five episodes of season 4 part 1 drop on Netflix.
To catch the finale of season 4 of “Emily in Paris,” you’ll need to be patient until September 12th. That’s when the second half of season 4 will be available on Netflix.
