He gathers multiple allies and persists in battling the self-proclaimed vampire messiah, who harbors wicked schemes for global domination. The series made its debut in October 2023, and just a week after its premiere, it was renewed for another season due to strong viewership and favorable reviews from both fans and critics.
Clive Bradley and Kevin Kolde, the showrunners, expressed their appreciation towards fans for their affection towards the season and announced its renewal. “We owe a huge thank you to all ‘Castlevania’ fans, old and new, for your fantastic feedback and encouragement!” they stated. “We can’t wait to offer you more of ‘Castlevania: Nocturne’ and the upcoming storyline about Richter Belmont’s rise” (as reported by Variety).
