Afterward, Judge Farmer announced that Gibson had the opportunity to rectify his failure to pay if he paid a total of $73,000, which also covered Lee’s attorney’s fees of $7500.
Later that night, Tanya Mitchell Graham, Gibson’s attorney, filed an appeal of the judge’s decision. This meant that Gibson was not obligated to pay the $73K before being released from custody.
