Tracy Morgan vomits on court, wheeled out of Knicks game

Medical staff wheeled Tracy Morgan out of Madison Square Garden after he suffered a medical incident during the New York Knicks’ game against the Miami Heat on March 17, 2025.

During the third quarter, Morgan vomited courtside, and a video captured him covering his face with a towel as staff escorted him out. Officials paused the game for approximately 10 minutes to clean the area before play resumed.

A representative from Madison Square Garden told PEOPLE, “We hope Tracy feels better soon and look forward to seeing him back courtside.” Reports from social media indicated that Morgan may have experienced a bloody nose in addition to vomiting. His representatives have not issued a statement regarding his condition.

Morgan, 56, has a history of health issues, including a kidney transplant in 2010. In 2014, he survived a severe car accident when a Walmart truck collided with his limo on the New Jersey Turnpike, leaving him in a coma for two weeks and requiring months of rehabilitation.

During the 10th anniversary of the crash, Morgan told People, “I want to say to everyone who was in the van with me that night I love you, and we miss you, Uncle Jimmy Mac and God bless your family. And to the driver that night and his family, me and my comrades forgive you.” The accident led to significant physical and emotional recovery, which he later discussed in his 2017 Netflix special, Staying Alive.

Morgan remains active in entertainment, recently attending SNL50 in February 2025, where he appeared in sketches. He is also set to star in an upcoming NBC comedy pilot alongside Daniel Radcliffe.
