Starting from December 2023, Sadiku – an accredited meteorologist and part of CBS News New York’s First Alert Weather Team – has been consistently providing weather forecasts for the Tri-State area. However, there will be a brief break during a period characterized by heightened weather activity. This includes keeping viewers informed about tropical storms and adjusting to fluctuating temperature patterns in the region.

Prior to joining CBS, Sadiku honed his weather forecasting skills at television stations in Florida and North Carolina, specifically FOX affiliates in Tampa and Fort Myers as well as an ABC affiliate in Charlotte. In addition to his broadcast career, he also serves as an adjunct professor teaching meteorology at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. (CBS News)
