She leaves behind her daughters, Miranda and Jessica, as well as five grandchildren.

Scott made a name for herself early on by starring in two significant mid-century movies: playing Lucy Edwards in The Searchers (1956) and Pegeen Ryan in Auntie Mame (1958). Her acting career continued for many years, encompassing roles in films like My Six Loves, Petulia, Cold Turkey, The Sound of Murder, and The Confession.

Growing up in the glitzy world of Hollywood, born on November 10, 1934, in Los Angeles, I’ve got a rich lineage in the entertainment industry. My dad, Allan Scott, was a talented screenwriter, best known for his work on musical classics like Top Hat and Swing Time.
