Pamela Bach, Baywatch actress and ex-wife of David Hasselhoff, has died at 62.
On March 5, her family found her deceased at her residence in Los Angeles. The Medical Examiner of Los Angeles County determined the cause of death to be suicide through a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Bach and Hasselhoff married in 1989, and they welcomed two daughters, Taylor and Hayley, before parting ways in 2006.
After some time without hearing from her, her relatives grew worried and went to check on her. This was initially reported by TMZ. In a statement, David Hasselhoff expressed his family’s deep sadness over the passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. He thanked everyone for their love and support during this tough period but asked for privacy as they mourn and cope with this challenging time.
1973 marked the start of Bach’s acting journey when she made a guest appearance on The Young and the Restless. Later on, she graced screens in shows like Baywatch, Cheers, Baywatch Nights, Castle Rock, and The Fall Guy. Notably, her paths crossed with Hasselhoff during her stint as a guest star on Knight Rider.
Her daughters haven’t made any public statements about her death yet, but Hayley did repost a photo of her parents on her Instagram story with a heart emoji. As for Pamela Bach, she posted a final message on Instagram on New Year’s Eve, featuring a picture of her granddaughter London, expressing gratitude and wishes for the new year. (NDTV)
