On their official Instagram account, Sebastian shared that Lynn Ban had taken her final breath on Monday, January 20, 2025. This occurred after a brain surgery performed following an unfortunate skiing accident.
Sebastian shared an old photo of him with his mom, adding this sweet tribute: “She managed to keep a smile, even when things were hard during her recovery. A true fighter until the very end, she was the strongest woman I’ve ever known.” He ended with a heartfelt message for Ban: “I’ll miss you forever, and as she always told me, ‘I love you more than life itself’, mom.
According to a report by People, published in December 2024, Lynn Ban revealed that she was on holiday in Aspen when she had an accident while skiing. Despite being given the all-clear, Ban chose to undergo a CAT scan and was subsequently diagnosed with a brain bleed.
