Lar Park Lincoln passes away at 63, claims report

Lar Park Lincoln has died at the age of 63.

Lar Park Lincoln, who gained fame for portraying Linda Fairgate in Knots Landing, passed away on April 22, 2025. Actors Audition Studios, the company she established, announced this tragic news via a Facebook post. The post read: “We mourn the loss of Lar Park Lincoln, an esteemed actress, founder of Actors Audition Studios, and revered Audition Coach, with deep sorrow.” The reason for her passing remains unknown.

Originating as Laurie Jill Park in Dallas, she kick-started her acting journey with the 1985 television movie ‘Children of the Night’, sharing the screen with Kathleen Quinlan and Mario Van Peebles. Her breakthrough came in 1987 when she played Tina Shepard in Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood. On TV, she has made appearances on shows like Hunter, Highway to Heaven, Freddy’s Nightmares, Murder, She Wrote, Beverly Hills, 90210, and City of Justice. Additionally, she was a familiar face on QVC for many years.

Back in the late ’80s to early ’90s, I was honored to embody Linda Fairgate on Knots Landing, from seasons 9 to 13 (that’s 1987-1991 for those keeping track). In a recent chat with a fan site, I fondly recalled playing this complex character who was equally rotten and delightfully entertaining. You might remember me from House II: The Second Story or various guest appearances on popular TV shows. It’s been a wild ride, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds!

She established Actors Audition Studios and published the book “Get Started, Not Scammed” in 2008, offering guidance to budding performers. Her website showcased her enthusiasm for assisting others in breaking into the industry. A Facebook tribute celebrated her commitment: “Throughout her 45-year career, Lar made an indelible impression on Hollywood with her powerful performances and tireless dedication to guiding aspiring actors.

Lincoln was wedded to Michael Lincoln, who sadly passed away in 2015.
