What Happened to Kelly Clarkson? Singer Replaced on Talk Show

The well-known entertainer Kelly Clarkson, who hosts her own talk show, hasn’t been seen in the recent episodes, leaving many viewers wondering about the reason behind this. Since its debut on September 9, 2019, The Kelly Clarkson Show has quickly become one of the most watched daytime television talk shows. Therefore, the fact that she’s been absent from it has generated quite a buzz.

Here’s what’s currently known about Kelly Clarkson’s absence from recent episodes of her show.

Why was Kelly Clarkson replaced on her talk show?

As for any formal announcements about her absence from The Kelly Clarkson Show, neither Kelly Clarkson nor any fellow producers connected to the series have provided one as yet. Notably, Kelly was last seen on the show this month, but it has persisted with temporary hosts stepping in to fill her role. Several notable celebrities, such as Simu Liu, Roy Wood Jr., Wanda Sykes, and Brooke Shields, have recently guest-hosted The Kelly Clarkson Show.

On the 10th of March, Shields was in charge, and will do so again on the 11th. On the 12th, Willie Geist from Sunday Today will step in to host. After that, Molly Sims will fill in for Geist for the rest of the week.

During his turn as the host, Liu joked that he had not known that he would be acting as Clarkson’s replacement “until five minutes ago” when he arrived at the studio to promote his new movie Last Breath. He added, “So I’m here now, and I’m not one to back down from a challenge.” (via The Mirror)

It’s been noted previously that Clarkson hasn’t offered any formal explanations for her recent absence, but some fans are guessing she might be taking some time off to focus on her family. She has two kids with her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock – a daughter named River Rose and a son called Remington “Remy” Alexander.
