During the second quarter, Love threw a short pass to Josh Jacobs which resulted in a tackle by Austin Booker from the Bears’ defense. In the process, it seemed that Love accidentally hit his right elbow against one of his offensive linemen’s helmet. This incident made Love lose sensation in his right hand. Immediately, the Packers’ medical team assessed him on the sidelines.

Later, Coach Matt LaFleur confirmed that Love hadn’t fully recovered from his second-half absence. Stepping up in Love’s stead was Malik Willis, who delivered an impressive performance by completing 76.9% of his passes and ultimately contributing to the Packers’ thrilling 24-22 win over the Bears.

Jordan Love remains hopeful about his healing process despite experiencing numbness in his throwing hand following a Week 18 elbow injury against the Chicago Bears.
