As a longtime follower and supporter of IShowSpeed, I have to say that his recent attempt at breaking the world record for most backflips in 24 hours was nothing short of exhilarating. The anticipation leading up to the event, the sheer determination on display, and the camaraderie shown by fellow YouTuber Jake Paul were all a testament to IShowSpeed’s spirit and resilience.
Famous YouTube content creator IShowSpeed has caused quite a buzz on social platforms as he plans to challenge the current world record for most backflips in 24 hours. The existing record of 1,001 backflips was set by Austrian native Nico Scheicher in 2019. With the announcement of his live stream attempting to break this record, many fans have expressed their support. However, it appears that IShowSpeed has not yet carried out the attempt.
Here are all the details of what happened to IShowSpeed’s backflip challenge.
IShowSpeed backs out from backflip challenge
IShowSpeed is no longer participating in his attempt to break the world record for the highest number of backflips performed within a 24-hour period.
On October 8th, a notable live streamer shared an exciting update on X (previously Twitter), which garnered around 9.6 million views. His post read, “SHATTERING THE 24-HOUR BACKFLIP RECORD. STAY TUNED TOMORROW.
On October 9th, IShowSpeed embarked on a live streaming challenge, and he persistently worked towards his goal until he accomplished 300 backflips in three hours. Meanwhile, fellow YouTuber Jake Paul offered support for IShowSpeed’s endeavor. To prevent muscle strain, a massage therapist was summoned to IShowSpeed’s residence as he reached the 360th backflip milestone.
According to Dexerto’s report, IShowSpeed’s legs began to tire at the 460th backflip. User Fearbuck posted on X that after reaching 461 backflips, IShowSpeed can no longer perform more flips because his legs have given out. He is currently resting for a few hours, fearing he might feel pain in his legs when he wakes up.
Immediately following a short rest, IShowSpeed resumed his endeavor, however, he was forced to abandon it at 660 flips. Not only were his supporters intrigued by the attempt, but even the Guinness World Records team took notice. They expressed their surprise in a post saying, “We weren’t aware this was happening, but keep on doing you, bro.
