They mentioned Mubanga Gravies, a teacher at Footprints Hope school in Nyambe’s Mkushi district, who shared that the humanitarian was with her team and numerous children until 11 PM on the evening preceding her passing.

In her own words, she never indicated that she was unwell or under the weather. However, at around 2 AM the day prior, she found herself in a situation where she lost consciousness. She managed to drive herself to the local clinic, which is approximately 15 kilometers from the school, after these incidents occurred.

Gravies mentioned that they learned from the clinic that Nyambe passed away at approximately 4 a.m., as her blood pressure was critically low. In his opinion, Nyambe was an exceptional boss whom the school staff held in high regard.
