Daniel Bisogno passes away, claims report
Daniel Bisogno, Mexican television host and actor, has passed away at the age of 51.
The news was verified by Ventaneando, the TV Azteca program where he had worked for many years. In a heartfelt message on their Instagram account, they shared unfortunate news that none of us wanted to hear: our cherished colleague Daniel Bisogno has sadly passed away following complications from a liver transplant he received last September. (As reported by Deadline)
In recent years, Bisogno has faced significant health challenges. In 2023 alone, doctors had to admit him to the hospital on several occasions due to complications such as esophageal varicose veins, a rectal fissure, and COVID-19. At the beginning of 2024, he was back in the hospital with a lung infection.
In September 2024, he had a liver transplant, but he encountered major issues afterward. On the TV Azteca program on February 12, his brother, Alejandro Bisogno, shared that Daniel’s health is fragile and he is in a vulnerable state.
Since joining Ventaneando in 1997, Bisogno has been a long-standing fixture on Mexican television. Renowned for his quick wit and bold demeanor, he emerged as one of the program’s most prominent personalities.
Regardless of his health issues, he maintained an optimistic outlook and took part digitally in Ventaneando’s 29th anniversary celebration. He told his fellow hosts, “These past 29 years have been marvelous in my life… The most valuable thing is a life that has given me everything, including the good and the challenging.
Following Daniel Bisogno’s passing, both colleagues and figures within the industry offered their tributes. Pati Chapoy, his longtime co-host, shared the sad news saying, “It is with deep sorrow that I inform you that Daniel Bisogno has passed away.” Additionally, Benjamin Salinas from Grupo Salinas expressed that Bisogno would be fondly remembered by the entire Azteca family.
1. Journalist Juan José Origel reminisced, “Few realize that Daniel began collaborating with me on my radio program.”
2. Aurora Valle expressed, “I’m overwhelmed by memories and nostalgia, but mostly profound sadness… May Muñe find peace.”
Bisogno has left behind his brother and his eight-year-old daughter, Michaela.
