On January 7, 2025, Gail posted on Facebook to share the sad news: Dale, her husband, had passed away the previous day, January 6. She revealed more details about his passing and explained, “Hello everyone, this is Gail, Dale’s wife. With a heavy heart, I inform you that last night, Dale left his earthly life behind. For many years, he battled metastasized prostate cancer and Parkinson’s disease, and in the end, he was ready.
In her goodbye, Dale’s wife emphasized how deeply important he was to her, quoting Bonnie Raitt, “He showed me how to live…how to be myself…and how to share.” Finally, Gail Wilson summarized by acknowledging that many others also felt this way about Dale and expressed that he cherished each one of them – his family, friends, and fans.
