Amber Rose vs Joseline Hernandez fight explained

During the filming of College Hill: Celebrity Edition Season 2 on BET, an argument between Rose and Hernandez about racial identity in a classroom at Alabama State University escalated into a physical fight. The incident was not aired by BET, but TMZ managed to obtain the footage and spread it online. Since then, the video has gone viral on social media.

In the video, Rose is shown aggressively attacking Hernandez, but is then shoved into a glass pane while still throwing hits. The brawl was eventually interrupted by at least five onlookers who managed to put a stop to it.

The video clips from the show provide some background information on the cause of the violent altercation. In a now-viral clip shared on X (previously Twitter), Hernandez can be heard saying, “I’ll let you know who I am. The issue is that you really want to be a white girl.” The dispute intensified rapidly and eventually became physical.

Hernandez hails from Puerto Rico and considers herself Afro-Latinx, while Rose has African CapVerdean and Scottish heritage.
