As a cinephile who’s been around the block more times than I care to remember, let me tell you that this upcoming season is shaping up to be a real treat for us horror and thriller enthusiasts!


Horror fanatics, our time has come. With spooky season upon us, Netflix has finally unveiled its complete 2024 Netflix & Chills lineup. We’ve already looked over the list, and there are so many movies and shows we can’t wait to check out.

In late September, the popular Korean thriller series “Gyeongseong Creature” will make its comeback with season two. Following this, Netflix has planned to debut a fresh installment of the intriguing “Unsolved Mysteries” in October, along with the much-anticipated second season of “Hellbound”. Additionally, horror enthusiasts can look forward to several new offerings such as “It’s What’s Inside”, “The Platform 2”, “Time Cut”, and “Don’t Move” among others. Furthermore, there are exciting titles lined up for release in November as well.

Sector 36

  • Release date: Sept. 13, 2024

The movie titled “Sector 36” is an upcoming Indian crime-thriller, based on real-life occurrences. The plot revolves around a tenacious police inspector on the trail of a ruthless serial killer, who has taken away numerous kids from a slum area known as Sector 36.

Gyeongseong Creature season 2

Following a thrilling debut, the highly anticipated second chapter of Gyeonseong Creature is on its way. This time, the story unfolds in the year 2024, contemporary Seoul, where a series of eerie murders are taking place. Character Yoon Chae-ok encounters an individual named Ho-jae who bears a striking resemblance to Jang Tae-sang. As tensions rise, they must join forces to combat this looming conflict and bring it to an end.

Unsolved Mysteries volume 5

Volume 5 of the “Unsolved Mysteries” series will comprise four fresh installments delving deeper into unsolved mysteries and supernatural occurrences. Audiences can anticipate these episodes to encompass cold cases, including unexplained murders, along with accounts of alleged encounters with extraterrestrial beings.

As a thrilled fan, I’d say “What’s Inside” is a chilling-yet-humorous horror-comedy movie that revolves around a gathering of old college friends at a pre-wedding bash. To spice up the event, someone proposes they engage in a game. This person pulls out a peculiar case, revealing a device within that enables swapping bodies among its users. However, what initially seemed like an exciting party trick turns into a terrifying psychological rollercoaster as the friends’ mental facades start to crumble one by one.

If you’re a fan of the thrilling blend of horror and comedy found in “Totally Killer,” then I highly recommend giving this one a watch – it’s sure to bring back memories of that film!

The apocalypse scenario promises new, advanced quests that our survivors must conquer to stay alive. But who among them will be the last one standing? The suspense is killing me!
