Wednesday Spin-off Teased as Jenna Ortega Show Gets Exciting Season 3 Update

Netflix has already given an early green light to Season 3 for its widely acclaimed mystery comedy series, Wednesday. This is before the much-anticipated comeback of the show starring Jenna Ortega, which has been split into two segments. The initial installment will debut on August 6, while the remaining episodes will be released on September 3.

In an interview with Tudum, showrunner Alfred Gough hinted that for Season 3, they aim to surpass all previous seasons by creating the best Wednesday yet. Co-creator Miles Millar further explained their goal of delving deeper into our characters and broadening the realm of Nevermore in Season 3. Additionally, we can expect to encounter more Addams Family members and uncover additional family secrets!

On Wednesdays, Tim Burton, renowned for his work on Beetlejuice and Corpse Bride, takes on the roles of executive producer and director. This series is inspired by the iconic characters created by cartoonist Charles Addams. Alongside Ortega, we see the return of Emma Myers as Enid, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams, Victor Dorobantu as Thing, Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams, Hunter Doohan as Tyler, Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester, Joy Sunday as Bianca, Moosa Mostafa as Eugene, and Georgie Farmer as Ajax.

Season 2 brings on board Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, Noah B. Taylor, Steve Buscemi, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, Joonas Suotamo, and Anthony Michael Hall.
