Netflix has unveiled the initial sneak peek for Season 2 of Wednesday, featuring Jenna Ortega once more in the Netflix series inspired by The Addams Family. This glimpse hints at the upcoming season being divided into two segments, with Part 1 set to air on August 6. In the meantime, viewers can look forward to Part 2, which is scheduled for September 3.

In the latest preview, we see Wednesday continuing her enrollment at Nevermore Academy as a new academic year begins. This upcoming term promises fresh experiences, encounters with novel characters, and more familial challenges for Wednesday.

In addition to Ortega, the second season of Wednesday will bring back actors like Emma Myers as Enid, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams, Victor Dorobantu as Thing, Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams, Hunter Doohan as Tyler, Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester, Joy Sunday as Bianca, Moosa Mostafa as Eugene, Georgie Farmer as Ajax, and several others.
Season 2 is set to bring on board several new actors including Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, Noah B. Taylor, Steve Buscemi, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, and Joonas Suotamo. Additionally, Christopher Lloyd and Lady Gaga will also be joining the cast. Notably, Christopher Lloyd previously played the role of Fester Addams in the original live-action films, where he starred alongside Anjelica Huston and Raul Julia.
The upcoming supernatural comedy with a coming-of-age theme, overseen by Tim Burton (known for Beetlejuice and Corpse Bride), is preparing for its second season. Notably, Ortega will join the production team as well. In an earlier interview, she disclosed that the following season will emphasize the horror elements, indicating that her character won’t pursue any romantic relationships during Season 2.
