Summary
- Warhorse Studios may already be working on a third game in the Kingdom Come: Deliverance series.
- Actor Tom McKay says he would love to reprise the role of Henry.
- He’s quite hungry.
The anticipated sequel to Kingdom Come: Deliverance has already proven itself as one of the top games released this year. Its dedicated fanbase and impressive sales figures – two million copies sold – have elevated it into the ranks of the most-played single-player games of all time, and Warhorse Studios is likely considering a third installment in the series. However, an official announcement has yet to be made; but hints from Henry of Skalitz suggest that the secret may already be out.
In a recent interview, Tom McKay (the actor who plays Henry in Warhorse’s game) mentioned that they already have ideas for the future of the Bohemian boy character, and he’d be more than happy to reprise his role as Henry, should there be a potential third game with a different main character. Given the affection shown towards Henry, it seems likely that McKay would eagerly accept the opportunity to play him once more.
Kingdom Come May Deliver Again
During an interaction with Dan Allen Gaming, McKay was queried about his feelings if Henry wasn’t the main character in the upcoming game (as reported by GamesRadar). “We have a strong understanding of what’s coming up next, however I’m unable to discuss any of that,” he said. “But the choices aren’t ours to make, and I remain open to various suggestions.
In a hypothetical third Witcher game, it might seem unlikely that Henry would take on a supporting role given his development throughout the series. However, with Geralt passing the torch to Ciri in The Witcher 4, there’s a possibility for Henry to have a more settled life, allowing the new protagonist to handle more action-oriented tasks like lifting sacks. It would be enjoyable if we could experience Henry’s peaceful existence, but it would also be great to play as him again, similar to how we did with Godwin in the current game.
Speaking about reprising his role, McKay expressed his joy at the possibility. “I’d be thrilled to continue playing this character, whether it’s for a short or long time,” he shared. “Ultimately, it depends on Warhorse, but I believe the fans have significant influence over the storyline. They play a crucial role in determining what they want to see and think, and I feel that’s a very fitting dynamic.
He chuckled, saying, “Absolutely! I’d be more than willing to portray this character, provided there’s someone who’s interested in hearing me perform it.
