Her life takes an unexpected turn when she encounters Noah (Brody), a rabbit with ambitions to lead his synagogue. The spark between them is undeniable, despite the potential hurdles their relationship may face. The film “Nobody Wants This” draws inspiration from the romantic experiences of its creator, Erin Foster, who embraced Judaism before tying the knot with her Jewish husband. In a conversation with Netflix, Foster shared that one aspect of love she finds most amusing is when it doesn’t go as planned.
“This show really represents how I view love now, which is so different than how I viewed it before,” she says. “Being in a really beautiful, healthy, fun relationship, it made me soften some of my cynicism.”

More recently, she appeared in the 2023 mystery drama titled “Harlan Coben’s Shelter” on Prime Video. This series was adapted from Coben’s Young Adult novel focusing on Mickey Bolitar and saw Feldshuh bring to life Elizabeth “Lizzy”/”Bat Lady” Sobek, a character central to an urban legend. Unfortunately, the series only lasted for one season before it was canceled.
