As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for Hollywood-style drama, I must say that Jayam Ravi’s life has been nothing short of a blockbuster movie – complete with love, heartbreak, and a comeback performance for the ages. The recent divorce from his wife, Aarti, and the ensuing controversy have certainly added an element of suspense to his personal narrative.
Jayam Ravi found himself in the spotlight following his announcement of divorce from Aarti. With rumors swirling about his private life, it appears that he’s redirected his focus towards his profession. His lively dance performance during film promotions for Brother quickly spread across social media, sparking much conversation online.
In a viral video, Jayam is spotted dancing in sync with his new song Makkamishi from his upcoming movie Brother. Other dancers, hailing from the college where he promoted his film, were also present. His infectious enthusiasm and obvious joy were clear indications that he enjoyed every moment of it.

Discussing his upcoming film titled “Brother,” it will be the actor’s 30th cinematic venture and is slated for a theater debut on Halloween, October 31, 2024. The role of the leading lady will be played by Priyanka Mohan. Joining her in the cast are Bhumika Chawla, Saranya Ponvannan, Natarajan Subramanium, Rao Ramesh, Yogi Babu, and several other talented actors.
Under the direction and production of M Rajesh, the movie “Brother” is financed by Screen Scene Media Entertainment. The captivating music for this film is orchestrated by Harris Jayaraj, a musician who has collaborated with Jayam on four prior projects.
As a die-hard fan, I’ve always admired Jayam Ravi on and off the screen. But when he revealed his separation from Aarti after 15 years of marriage, it sent shockwaves through our fandom. The reasons behind this split have remained a mystery to us all, with both parties choosing to keep things private. As fans, we can only respect their wishes for seclusion during this difficult time, hoping that they find peace and happiness in the future.
The situation deteriorated as speculation surfaced and linked the split to Goa-based vocalist Kenishaa Francis. This speculation led many to accuse her of being involved in a clandestine relationship with the actor, which ultimately led to the end of his marriage.
Initially, there was some misunderstanding as the actor referred to the singer as his therapist. However, in an interview with DT Next, he clarified this statement, explaining that he knew the individual due to their shared interest in opening a spiritual center. The person who has been mentioned online is actually a trained psychologist, well-known for helping many people overcome depression. He emphasized that using names without permission isn’t acceptable and assured everyone that while he may have faced challenges in his life, they are not insurmountable obstacles.
Besides Brother, Jayam Ravi has films like Genie and Kadhalika Neramillai in his pipeline.
