In the upcoming action-packed movie “A Working Man,” slated for release on March 28, 2025, Jason Statham reappears on the silver screen. Directed by David Ayer, this film finds Statham portraying a former special ops agent who employs his expertise to save his boss’s abducted daughter.
In this film, which was penned by Sylvester Stallone with input from Chuck Dixon and David Ayer, David Ayer is once again working alongside Jason Statham following their partnership on “The Beekeeper” last year. The stellar cast features David Harbour, Michael Peña, Jason Flemyng, Arianna Rivas, Noemi Gonzalez, and Emmett J. Scanlan.
Levon Cade, a former black ops soldier with an impressive military background, trades in the complexity of his past for a straightforward life as a construction worker. However, when the daughter of his boss, who he considers like family, gets kidnapped by human traffickers, Levon embarks on a mission to find her. This quest exposes him to a level of corruption that surpasses anything he could have anticipated.

If you’re wondering if #AWorkingMan also plays the role of the Beekeeper, you’ll have to be patient until the sequel comes out. On the other hand, if you’re looking for action packed with a mix of Reacher’s fighting style, a hint of Rambo’s intensity, and a dash of Hard Target’s grit, Statham and Ayer definitely deliver. This duo is electrifying; let’s hope they create something new every year!

The Movie ‘A Working Man’ showcases top-notch action. David Ayer and Jason Statham team up once again for an enjoyable cinema experience. It leans more towards Death Wish than Commando, but with Statham channeling his inner Charles Bronson, it’s a role I find captivating. #AWorkingMan

A Jason Statham film is always predictable, and #AWorkingMan doesn’t disappoint. It may not have as much extreme entertainment as The Beekeeper, but it harks back to the ’80s action movies, making for a great watch despite being weighed down by an overly complicated storyline that could have been simplified.

In continuation of his series of action movies, “A Working Man” is one of Statham’s latest offerings. Additionally, you can expect to see him in future projects such as “The Beekeeper 2,” “Mutiny,” and a collaboration with director Ric Roman Waugh that are slated for release in the near future.
