Vinoth, this political action thriller reportedly includes elements reflecting Vijay’s real-life shift from acting to politics.
Furthermore, it seems credible that the movie may feature cameos from well-known directors who have collaborated with Vijay in recent years and achieved blockbuster success together.
The film is planning a premiere for the festival of Pongal in 2026, specifically on January 9th. It’s worth noting that this date coincides with the release of several other major productions, creating an interesting clash at the box office.
Recently, Vijay has been drawing attention following an Iftar celebration he organized in Chennai that led to a religious decree, or fatwa, being issued against him by a Muslim administrative group.
According to an article from the Free Press Journal, a Sunni Muslim organization claimed that the actor disrespected the sanctity of Eid by inviting known gamblers and heavy drinkers to the celebration, which some Muslims found offensive to their beliefs.
However, no statement in this regard was made available from Vijay’s side anytime soon.
