As a devoted follower of Pawan Kalyan’s illustrious career, I am consistently amazed by his unwavering dedication to his beliefs and his deep-rooted connection with the culture and traditions of his land. The recent event, where he underwent an 11-day penance ritual for the Tirumala Laddu controversy, is a testament to his conviction and respect for Sanathana Dharma.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d say: Recently, Actor Karthi stirred quite a buzz online when he tactfully sidestepped commenting on the Tirupati Laddu controversy, choosing instead to tread delicately around the issue. This move, in turn, sparked a passionate reaction from Andhra Pradesh’s deputy CM and fellow actor, Pawan Kalyan. Over the course of 11 days, he underwent a spiritual purification ritual called prayaschitta diksha, which is traditionally performed for penance.

Upon reaching the temple in Vijayawada, the renowned celebrity was questioned by the media regarding his response to Karthi’s statement about the controversy. In response, Pawan Kalyan stated, “At a film gathering yesterday, they joked about the Tirumala Prasadam. I want to request them to think very carefully before speaking about the Tirumala Prasadam. This is not something to joke about. Although I admire you as actors, I urge you to stop making such remarks that are disrespectful towards Sanathana Dharma.

Additionally, images posted by a fan page on X (previously Twitter) show actor Pawan Kalyan dressed in a saffron-colored traditional robe, performing a brief religious ceremony on the set of his upcoming film Hari Hara Veera Mallu. Here, he was observed following a penance ritual.
