As a dedicated supporter of former President Donald Trump, I can’t help but feel a mix of relief and concern upon hearing about the recent shooting incident at one of his rallies. My heart goes out to those who were injured or lost loved ones in this tragic event.
Reports have emerged stating that Donald Trump, the previous U.S. President, supposedly played golf at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, on July 14, after being removed from a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13. This action came following an unfortunate shooting incident where Trump received a gunshot wound.
Here is everything that is currently known about whether Trump played golf after the shooting.
Did Donald Trump play golf after the shooting?
Based on the information provided, it seems that Trump didn’t go golfing right after the shooting incident. Instead, he was taken to a hospital in Pennsylvania for treatment before traveling to Newark, New Jersey. There, pictures were taken of him disembarking from his plane. However, according to various reports, including CBS New York, Trump did make a visit to a golf course during his recovery period prior to heading to the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Additionally, an image of a Reddit post that’s been widely shared online alleges that Trump was seen at his golf course.

The poster was purportedly made by a cart attendant at Bedminster. However, this was widely refuted. Political journalist Laura Loomer was one of these voices. “Not sure why so many people are posting posts saying President Trump played golf today, but I can 100% confirm he didn’t play golf today,” she posted on X. “Anyone saying that he did is pushing misinformation. Donald Trump flew to Milwaukee today from New Jersey, and it was raining in New Jersey. The videos of him on the golf course are old.”
Additionally, Politico reported that the club was closed on Sunday.
At a rally attended by Donald Trump, an incident occurred where Trump sustained an injury to his upper right ear, and tragically, one person lost their life while two others were left severely injured. The suspected shooter, identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, was subsequently taken down by the Secret Service.
