Warzone In The Sky With Diamonds! New Limited Time Mode Is The Most Insane Yet

As a seasoned Warzone gamer with countless hours under my belt, I can’t help but feel a shiver of anticipation down my spine as the spooky season approaches. The mere mention of ‘Purgatory’ sends chills through me, not just because of its ominous name, but also due to the tantalizing promise it holds.

Over the Halloween period, Warzone consistently delivers engaging content, featuring fresh character skins and weaponry designs, along with unique limited-time game modes to keep things exciting.

The Season 6 update will be available from September 18, marking the beginning of the creepy phase in Warzone. A fresh game mode titled “Purgatory” is introduced in this season.

Stay tuned to find out what it’s all about!

What Is Purgatory?

In a revised form of the map known as Rebirth Island, Purgatory will unfold, with chaos erupting everywhere, figuratively speaking.

Upon entering the game, all your equipment is immediately at your disposal. Unlike other games where the goal is to outlast everyone else until only one player remains, this game doesn’t work that way due to unlimited respawn opportunities. Instead, the objective is to meet certain victory requirements.

Over the chart, you’ll find an iconic floating Shipment map perched atop a large creature. You can reach it by using a redeploy option, flying a helicopter, or via various portals strategically placed throughout the terrain. However, do take note that these portals may transport you to unpredictable locations, so exercise caution!

You gain more XP, the more kills you have, but you will also be more visible on the enemies’ radar.

Scare packages provide loot in exchange for some “unexpected side effects”.

At last, the Terriball has dropped! I can take it down with gunfire, melee attacks, or even a well-placed kick, but beware! Any gamer unfortunate enough to touch this beast is instantly eliminated from the game.

Check it out yourself, on September 18.
