Warzone Devs Asked Fans What They Thought About The New Season And Got Flamed Instantly

As a battle-hardened Warzone veteran who’s seen more updates than I care to remember, it’s become a bit of a roller coaster ride every time there’s a new patch. The latest update feels like a repeat of history – the same old issues, the same long wait times, and the same sense of frustration.

It’s common knowledge that the community for Warzone finds themselves caught between admiration and frustration towards the game developers, regularly expressing discontent following each update.

Lately, the official Warzone page on X sought fan opinions regarding the latest update, but instead, they received a barrage of harsh criticism.

“What did they even do?”

Well, it’s not surprising that the tweet didn’t get many favorable responses. Instead, it seems to have ignited a wave of criticism that appears to be warranted.

One common issue players face is that the update process takes an excessive amount of time, sometimes encountering other problems as well. In certain instances, players have been required to re-download the entire game – a massive 200 GB file size.

Following its removal of all my data, as it did back in the PS4 era, and installing the BOPS6 beta without my consent, I find myself needing to start over. It’s puzzling how they consistently manage to perform such actions. There seems to be no smooth transition during season updates.

Another issue that arose was that the modifications seemed ineffective to many users, as they stated that the gameplay remained unchanged and the newly introduced weapons were hardly beneficial in any way.

As a Warzone enthusiast, I wholeheartedly echo these concerns. It often feels like the developers are disconnected from their player base entirely. Regrettably, recent updates have been more problematic than beneficial, which has resulted in a noticeable decline in the game’s quality over the past few years.

I hope they fix it someday, because Warzone used to be a lot of fun.
