Warner Bros. working on new "AAA titles set in the DC Comics Universe"

As a long-time fan who’s seen more than a few sunsets over Gotham City, I can’t help but feel a rush of excitement when it comes to the latest DC news! WB Games Montréal is on the hunt for a Senior Producer to work on a new AAA title set in the DC Comic Universe, and given their history with the Batman franchise, I’m pretty sure we’re in for another thrilling adventure.

From a fan’s perspective, the DCEU has faced some challenges in Hollywood, but there’s hope with the upcoming Superman film from James Gunn. Meanwhile, in the thrilling realm of video games, characters like Batman, Wonder Woman, and even Green Lantern continue to shine brightly, keeping the universe vibrant and exciting!

It appears that WB Games Montréal is currently seeking an experienced Senior Producer to work on exciting AAA games based within the DC Comic Universe. This position involves managing one project throughout its entire development cycle, starting from the initial concept phase right through to its final release.

As a Senior Producer, you will oversee all phases and teams of development of a single project, from the concept phase through its release. You will manage a large part of the internal development teams to identify risk, define processes, establish schedules, define roles and responsibilities, make sure budgets and resources are spent to high ROI and collaborate with directors and leads on establishing goals and deliverables.

There’s a strong possibility that the upcoming project from WB Games Montréal is connected to the Batman series, given their past work. Previously, they were involved in creating “Batman: Arkham Origins” and “Gotham Knights”. Although “Gotham Knights” received mixed reviews on Steam, the overall response was generally positive, suggesting there might be more titles to come within this franchise.

What do you think about this DC news? And what would you want from a new Batman game?
