What do we know about A24 and Alex Garland’s Warfare movie?
In addition to Melton, Quinn, and Poulter, the cast of Warfare includes Kit Connor, Cosmo Jarvis, Finn Bennett, Noah Centineo, Michael Gandolfini, Henry Zaga, among others.
In the movie, D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, from Reservation Dogs, takes on the role of Mendoza. Mendoza, in this context, is a former soldier who held a leadership position during the American Civil War.
Before the Civil War became available on Max, Alex Garland directed several films, including Ex Machina (2014), Annihilation (2018), and Men (2022). All of these movies were distributed by A24. He also served as an unnamed director for Dredd in 2012 and contributed to the scripts for 28 Days Later (2002), Sunshine (2007), Never Let Me Go (2010). Moreover, Garland penned the screenplay for a sequel to Danny Boyle’s 28 Days Later, titled 28 Years Later, which is set to be released in cinemas on June 20, 2025.
Warfare will be released in United States theaters in 2025 from A24.
