This transformation, grounded in the tradition of our founder, Sam Walton, showcases our growing abilities and enduring dedication to catering to both current and future customers. Additionally, White mentioned that this redesign also embodies the values advocated by our founder, Sam Walton.

In an interview with Fortune, White clarified that the logo change wasn’t a full rebrand but rather a refresh, mirroring their present image. This transformation also signifies their foray into the electronic commerce and digital marketplace.

In the revamped version of their logo, the “Walmart” text now features thicker letters and wider stems on its distinctive sun-like sparks that resemble yellow rays. Other significant alterations to the brand include a darker blue backdrop and a more vibrant shade of yellow for the sun-like sparks. This fresh logo is set to appear on both their online stores and physical outlets, as well as their headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas, this month.
