As a lifelong fan of all things AMC and Christmas, I am absolutely thrilled about this year’s Best Christmas Ever Celebration! The thought of spending my holiday season with Clark Griswold, Buddy the Elf, and even the Mayfair Witches is simply delightful. I still remember the chills I got watching the 2018 Walking Dead yule log video, and I can’t wait to see what they’ve cooked up for 2024!
This holiday season, AMC Networks invites you to join them in the Best Christmas Ever Celebration! They have an extensive lineup of festive programming lined up, including beloved classics like National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Elf, Fred Claus, Four Christmases, Christmas with the Kranks, Miracle on 34th Street, and many more. On December 1st, AMC will unveil two unique yule log videos: one themed around Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches and another for The Walking Dead: Cruel Log.
In 2018, AMC introduced a special Yule log video themed around “The Walking Dead,” offering a unique blend of holiday cheer and horror. The video featured a warm fire, a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, softly falling snow, and eerie Walker hands scratching at the window. On December 1, 2024, AMC+ is set to debut another “The Walking Dead” Yule log special for fans to cozy up with during the holiday season. According to AMC’s description, settle in with some hot cocoa and a crossbow, as not even the cold-hearted walkers can resist the warm holiday atmosphere provided by the Cruel Log! Find your seat near the fire in a world filled with walkers this festive season!
Besides the Walking Dead-themed version, AMC+ has also introduced the Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches Yule Log, which is described as: “These witches are bringing the holiday cheer. Gather by the fire to add a touch of magic to your festive season.

AMC collaborates with MGM+ for a temporary showcase of exclusive MGM+ series originals, allowing AMC+ members to stream the initial seasons of these shows:

“Don’t forget to catch the first showing of AMC’s unique movie ‘Christmas Eve in Miller’s Crossing,’ airing on Dec. 6th. The film features Michael Cera, Sawyer Spielberg and Francesca Scorsese. Storyline: On Christmas Eve, a family comes together for what might be their final celebration at their ancestral home. As the evening progresses and intergenerational friction surfaces, one of the teenagers decides to sneak out with friends, aiming to make her mark on the snowy suburb.
