The Marvel Studios’ “Vision Quest” series has recently confirmed T’Nia Miller as its new addition to the cast, taking on the role of Jocasta. This series was initially announced by the studio in October 2022, led by Kevin Feige. The storyline primarily revolves around the unique white variant of Vision, a character last seen at the conclusion of the popular 2021 series “WandaVision.” Besides Paul Bettany and Miller, other cast members include James Spader, Ruaridh Mollica, and Todd Stashwick.
T’Nia Miller locked in as Jocasta in Marvel’s Vision Quest series
As per the latest news, it’s been said that the actor from ‘The Haunting of Bly Manor’ has apparently been added to the cast of Marvel Studio’s ‘Vision Quest’ series, portraying the character of Jocasta.
According to sources who spoke with Deadline, T’Nia Miller has officially been cast as the main villain in the upcoming series. The story will pick up after the departed White Vision character embarks on a journey to recover his lost memories. Unfortunately, further details about the show’s plot are still under wraps. It is worth noting that this series serves as the second spin-off from WandaVision, following Agatha All Along in its lineage.
In the upcoming Marvel Studios production, Jocasta, played by Miller, is reimagined as a supervillain. Originally, she appears as Ultron’s spouse in comic books. However, over time in the comics, Jocasta evolves into a more sympathetic character after gaining control of her system, which was initially designed to remain faithful to Ultron.
In addition, Terry Matalas, the showrunner, recently discussed the Vision Quest timeline on The Sackhoff Show. He explained, “The storyline has been mapped out. After the end of WandaVision, the original Vision was reconstructed and militarized. Then, he experienced a period of self-discovery and acceptance. Following this character’s journey is what Vision Quest focuses on.
Matalas also spoke about his time involved with the production. He mentioned, “Working on it has been an incredibly rewarding artistic journey, and I truly believe we’re crafting something truly exceptional.
