About Kannappa

The story of Kannappa revolves around Thinnadu, a youthful woodsman initially devoid of faith. Yet, on a momentous day, this individual stumbles upon a Shiva Lingam in the wilderness and starts offering tributes to the statue.

In my perspective as a lifestyle guide, this captivating cinematic journey delves into the transformation of an ordinary man into the most ardent devotee of Lord Shiva, a revered deity in Hindu mythology. The tale of Kannappa is deeply rooted in ancient mythological texts, where the protagonist is portrayed as a saintly figure.

Kannappa casts Vishnu Manchu as the main character, alongside a diverse group of talented actors including Mohan Babu, R Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Brahmanandam, Brahmaji, Siva Balaji, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, Devaraj, Mukesh Rishi, Raghu Babu, Preity Mukhundhan, and several others in important roles.

This action-packed fantasy movie additionally showcases brief appearances from popular stars such as Prabhas, Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, and Kajal Aggarwal.

In this story, Prabhas (also known as The Rebel Star) takes on the character of Rudra, a divine figure from the Rigveda. Meanwhile, Mohanlal portrays a tribal fighter. Interestingly, Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal are cast as Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati respectively.

The film is garnering praise for its acting, but it’s facing flak due to its special effects and script.
