As a die-hard film enthusiast who has witnessed the evolution of Telugu cinema over the past few decades, I can confidently say that the camaraderie between directors like SS Rajamouli and Sukumar is a sight to behold. Their mutual respect for each other’s work adds a unique charm to our industry.
The sequel to Pushpa, titled “The Rule,” garnered favorable feedback following its December 5 premiere. Under the guidance of director Sukumar, this film has been impressively successful in cinemas. Amid the excitement surrounding Allu Arjun’s starring role, renowned filmmaker SS Rajamouli attended a special viewing at Hyderabad’s Vimal Theater.
The same video is rapidly spreading across social media platforms. In this footage, it appears that the director is leaving a movie theater following an action-adventure screening. As he spots photographers, he promptly makes his way towards his vehicle and drives off.
In response to the video, one online user posted, “I’ll share my thoughts tomorrow, it’s not ready yet.” While another user replied, “Rest assured, there won’t be a favorable opinion shared.
Take a look at the video below:
SS Rajamouli made an appearance at the pre-launch gathering of Pushpa 2: The Rule in Hyderabad. In his words, the esteemed director of RRR shared his enthusiasm for the movie and mentioned that it wouldn’t require advertising. He confidently suggested that Indians all over the world might have already reserved their tickets for the opening day.
He shared his experience of visiting the film’s set at Ramoji Film City a few months ago. He revealed that Sukumar had shown him the introduction scene of Pushparaj during his visit. He praised the scene for its brilliance and praised Allu Arjun for its impact. Rajamouli also mentioned that the scene perfectly matched the grandeur of Devi Sri Prasad’s background score.
123Telugu reports that he stated, “Sukumar showed me a scene featuring Pushparaj’s introduction. I found it outstanding. I told Sukumar and Bunny just one thing: The scene will be just as powerful as Devi’s background music for it; its potential is boundless.
More recently, at the celebration for Pushpa 2’s success, director Sukumar acknowledged SS Rajamouli for his significant contribution to the film’s triumph. He disclosed that the initial strategy didn’t involve a nationwide release for the initial installment of the movie. However, Rajamouli’s influence helped change this plan and contribute to Pushpa: The Rise’s success on a broader scale.
Initially, Sukumar thought about abandoning the project following the release of two Hindi songs. But Rajamouli managed to persuade Sukumar, Allu Arjun, and the producers to continue with it instead. Later on, Sukumar acknowledged that Rajamouli played a significant role in their success.
