The first trailer for G20 has been released.
In the spring of 2025, prepare for an exciting new film titled “G20” on Amazon Prime Video. This movie is directed by Patricia Riggen and features Viola Davis in the role of U.S. President Taylor Sutton.

What is G20 about?
“In G20, when terrorists overtake the G20 Summit, American President Taylor Sutton (Davis) must bring all her statecraft and military experience to defend her family, her fellow leaders, and the world,” the synopsis for the movie reads.
Additionally, Davis is involved in the creation of the film G20, a production shared between Amazon Studios, MRC Film, Andrew Lazar, and Julius Tennon. The original script was penned by Noah and Logan Miller, with subsequent edits made by Caitlin Parrish and Erica Weiss.
Amazon Studios’ Julie Rapaport praises Viola as an exceptional talent, both on-screen and off, stating her excitement for bringing President Sutton’s vibrant character to the screen. She also mentions their anticipation of collaborating with the talented filmmaking team and MRC Film, aiming to share this captivating movie with Prime Video subscribers worldwide.
